Tom Pick is an accomplished executive with corporate development and operating excellence leadership experience in both the public and private sectors. He has proven expertise in building shareholder and customer value through operating performance, strategic development, M&A, sales and marketing, and turnaround management.
In his career with Thomas Group, Mr. Pick has achieved corporate growth through organic and strategic business development strategies, established financial planning and governance process for a $22.5 billion governmental enterprise, and implemented Continuous Process Improvement methodologies for a major governmental enterprise to increase productivity and align the organization to strategy and war fighting requirements.
Prior to joining Thomas Group, Mr. Pick was a founder and principal of STAT Performance Group, Inc., a management advisory company built on 25 years of commercial achievement, serving clients in areas of business development, sales and marketing, operations, and performance improvement. He created business and funding programs for companies in the manufacturing and distribution sectors and established and executed manufacturing, operations, distribution, and M&A strategies that drove profit improvement and marketplace success for domestic and international companies.
Mr. Pick also served as President and CEO of Globus Wireless LTD, a$20 million publicly-traded provider of consumer electronics products and engineering lab services. He executed new business strategy, re-aligned resources, and established distribution channels for a North American business resulting in 120% revenue increase, $10 million profit improvement, established overseas contract manufacturing operations resulting in gross margin increase of 200%, and created and executed an operating capital funding program including North American road show.
Mr. Pick has also held senior operating and business development roles at Motorola, Philips Consumer Communications, Arch Communications, PacTel Paging, and NEC Corporation.
Mr. Pick received a Bachelor of Business Administration from The University of Texas.
