VP and Interim Chief Financial Officer Frank Tilley, CFO and VP of Thomas Group, Inc., also has been a consultant providing executive level financial leadership on a project, interim, or longer-term basis for organizations undergoing change. He is a strong operations and financial executive with proven results in turning around operations and in growing business rapidly in small-cap and mid-cap companies in industries ranging from real estate, banking, investment management, and services, to consumer and high-tech manufacturing. He has extensive experience in building teams, IPO’s, road shows, SEC reporting, debt and equity fund raising, M&A, due diligence, corporate finance, financial infrastructure development, MIS operations management, marketing, and investments. He focuses on strategic as well as tactical issues and problems for clients. He is prepared to roll-up his sleeves for hands-on work or to provide vision and leadership depending on client requirements. He also provides audit committee advisory services and is qualified to serve as the financial expert on audit committees of public mid-cap or small-cap companies. He has a working knowledge of the requirements of Sarbanes-Oxley, including Section 404.
As a consultant he has worked with CFO’s in several diversified real estate companies as well as serving as interim CFO of both public and private companies and as advisor to CEO’s of companies in multiple industries from international oil and gas exploration to fiber optics manufacturing to arts and crafts design and distribution. He has served as CFO in high growth technology companies and for turnaround companies. He has also worked on a number of M&A transactions in various roles and led reengineering teams for major operations.
In addition to his CFO and finance roles, he has also been a line manager in real estate and financial services companies in investment management, marketing, product management, and sales management, including a major subsidiary of JPMorgan Chase.
He is a CPA in Texas and holds a BS degree in Industrial Engineering from Texas A&M University and an MBA degree from Harvard Business School.
