David B. Mathis was elected director of the Company on August 18, 1998. Mathis graduated from Lake Forest College. Mathis serves as Chairman of Kemper Insurance Companies, which has operations in commercial and personal insurance, risk management, and reinsurance. Mathis’ long career with Kemper has included executive assignments with both Kemper Insurance Companies and Kemper Corporation, its former publicly owned affiliate.
